I just stumbled on your blog, and it looks like I have perfect timing! I love V'con so if you say it's not her best then I can't wait to check out the other books. My favorite brunch item is usually French toast (not sure how to make that vegan, although I'm sure it's possible...)

i thought i was the only person a little disappointed with v'con. i too absolutely adore vwav, and while i can appreciate some rock'n recipes in v'con, as a whole, i was a little let down. i'm glad vegan brunch has proved to be glorious, and i still can't believe i don't own vegan cupcakes take over the world. christmas wishlist is what i'm thinking.

i'd love a chance to win vegan brunch. and my favorite brunch dish would have to be tempeh hash. we toss in some tempeh, potatoes, green peppers 'n onions, a little sriracha and a lot of garlic. so yum!

I got two of her cookbooks as wedding gifts-- vegan with a vengence and Veganomicon. I love them so much that I wrote an ode to the author: http://beastmomma.squarespace.com/life-from-the-belly-of-the-bea/ode-to-isa-chandra-moskowitz.html

My favorite brunch is pancakes with a savory side like hash browns!

It's always interesting when I see that some aren't gaga over Vcon. That book is my cooking bible! I love it so much. The seitan piccatta is my favorite dish EVER! Ha ha.

If you love savory, I highly suggest the omelet. The denver is amazing with hickory liquid smoke! And I love the ricotta, tomato and basil one. Mmm. Damn, now I want omelets!

Tofu scramble with veggies( usually mushrooms, peppers, onions and potatoes), broiled tomatoes and a bit of toast with jam is one of my most often enjoyed brunch dishes.

(Retweeted and I'm already a fan book fan! )

My favorite breakfast dish is the vegan omelette from Cafe Evolution in Northampton, MA. It is a pretty yellow color and packed with veggies like shitake mushrooms and greens and has vegan cheese. It is served with homemade oat toast and home fries too if I recall correctly. They only have brunch on Sundays so if you are in the area on a Sunday check them out! It is soooo good. I want to make one of my own. :)

I already have a copy, but I wouldn't mind another one to give away as a gift for the holidays. If it wasn't for this book, I never would have discovered black salt, which really gives things an eggy flavor. My favorite brunch dish is a veggie-packed tofu scramble for sure!
